* Labor and Delivery Doula
Fees
I charge a flat fee of $600.00 per birth, so it doesn't matter if you are in labor for 2 hours or 48 the fee is
the same. 50% of full payment (nonrefundable) is due at our 1st prenatal visit with the remaining 50% due at the
postpartum. I feel that during labor the family has enough to think about without worrying if they have paid me.
Additional postpartum visits are available at $15.00 an hour.
Third Party Billing
Though many insurance companies are not covering doula services yet, you can certainly apply for compensation.
A form is available upon request and I highly recommend sending one in. The more people who ask for compensation
the more likely a company is to add Doula services to their billable services.
What you can expect:
- Initial interview to meet and decide if I am the Doula for you. (free)
- 2 prenatal visits
- Assistance in drawing up a birth plan that is right for each family
- Attendance through labor and for at least 1 hour after delivery
- 2 Postpartum visits 1st at 24 hours after delivery, 2nd at the 6 week mark.
- Unlimited phone consultations both prenatal and postpartum

It is important to state once again that I am not a Midwife and cannot perform medical procedures. You still must
hire a Doctor or Certified Midwife for prenatal visits and birth of your baby.
